It has now been one month since I took the helm as CEO of Oilon. I have received a very warm welcome, and over the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure of meeting most of our employees in person. I’ve also attended meetings with customers, suppliers, the board, the management and several project teams. My travels have taken me to China and to our facilities in Finland, with a visit to the USA coming up soon.
This week, I wanted to get hands-on experience with our products and manufacturing. I spent time on the final assembly line, tools in my hands, and it was a truly insightful experience. I received a lot of valuable ideas and feedback for R&D, supply chain, occupational health and safety, logistics, and more.
It was a privilege to work alongside one of our ‘assembly masters’, a true professional who has been with the company since 1981. In addition to learning about our processes, products, and assembly techniques, I gained a deep appreciation for the remarkable people behind them.
Our employees, across every stage of the value chain, are what make Oilon a great place to work. It’s an honor to be part of this team.
