In The Gym Group’s collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric, the Oventrop Regumaq station works alongside the Ecodan QAHV CO₂ heat pump to provide a low-carbon alternative to traditional gas systems. The combined solution significantly reduces emissions and improves operating efficiency while keeping energy use under control.
For Oventrop, the Regumaq plays a key role in this system by maintaining low return temperatures, supporting heat-pump performance and providing useful data logging for ongoing optimisation. Instantaneous generation also removes the need for stored volumes, reducing Legionella risk and simplifying plantroom layouts.
This project demonstrates how integrated, high-efficiency DHW solutions can support large gym estates in meeting sustainability and operational goals.
