🆕 The REMS Detect GS4 Set F is a compact, electronic leak detector for reliably locating a wide variety of gases. The device detects, among other things, natural gas, methane, liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane), hydrogen, ammonia, and numerous types of refrigerants. Its high sensitivity and fast response time make it ideal for professional use in gas, heating, and refrigeration systems.
The gas leak detector features a robust, impact-resistant plastic housing with a non-slip soft grip for ergonomic operation. A 200 mm long, flexible extension facilitates access to hard-to-reach areas and can be removed without tools if needed. Sensor replacement is also tool-free, with color coding to match the application. Changes in gas concentration are signaled by a visual and audible warning system – with colored LEDs (yellow, orange, red) and a change in tone frequency.
The device uses a semiconductor sensor, requires a warm-up period of 15 to 150 seconds, and offers a response time of approximately 2 seconds at high gas concentrations. The GS4-LED interchangeable attachment with integrated high-performance LED light provides additional visibility in poorly lit areas.
