A workhorse from 39 to 93 kW
The GA-85 is a direct propane-fired air heater from Thermobile Industries of the Netherlands, builders of professional mobile heating since 1962. With a smoothly adjustable output from 39 to 93 kW and an airflow of 2,400 m³/h, it covers everything from gentle finishing-drying to full heating power in large spaces — with one and the same machine.
And because it is direct-fired, virtually all the energy in the gas is converted into heat in the airstream. No flue, no heat loss — just heat, exactly where it is needed.
Built for real life on the farm
The details reveal a machine designed by people who know agriculture:
- Moisture- and dust-proof control cabinet — because farm air is neither dry nor clean.
- External combustion-air intake, letting the machine draw clean air from outside — essential in dusty drying environments.
- Vertical or horizontal placement — horizontal mounting makes it ideal in drying installations with fan positioning.
- Ionization flame protection, burner relay and hose-breakage protection as standard.
- Thermostat connection and the option of a modulating control system, so the heat follows the need — and the gas consumption follows the heat.
- 36 kg and compact dimensions (109 × 46 × 47 cm) — one person and a wheel set, and it is moved.
Propane (G31) is also one of the cleanest fossil fuels there is: easy to source, easy to transport in cylinders, and burning without soot or particles. The GA-85 uses between 2.8 and 6.7 kg per hour depending on output.
