Did you know that Inpro equipment is found in more than 50,000 installations around the world? Behind that figure lie more than five decades of experience with one task: making sure oil and diesel get safely to where operations must not stop.
From Madrid to 30 countries
Inpro was founded in Madrid in 1972, when Antonio Sanz introduced fuel transfer technology to the Spanish market. In 2003 the German company Simka, founded in 1959, joined the group. Today Inpro is headquartered in Arganda del Rey near Madrid.
According to Inpro, the group has completed more than 10,000 projects and is present in 30 countries. Since 2015 Inpro has also expanded into North and South America, the Middle East and Africa.
What does Inpro make?
Inpro’s range covers the whole route from the tank to the engine or burner:
- Fuel transfer: pressure and suction units, control panels, motor pumps and filters.
- Fuel polishing, keeping the diesel clean even when the generator rarely runs.
- Tank level monitoring, including wireless systems.
- Gas detection and solenoid valves for gas.
- Flow meters for liquids.
- Inpro Connected: remote monitoring with NB-IoT.
- HVO-ready equipment, so the installation is ready for fossil-free fuel and the green transition.
The equipment is used both for backup generators and for diesel supply to boilers.
Where is the equipment installed?
Inpro works on installations where safety, reliability and security of supply are critical:
- Hospitals and healthcare
- Data centres, including TIER IV certified facilities
- Airports, ports and transport hubs
- Shopping centres, hotels and sports venues
- Power plants and combined heat and power plants
- Marine, mining and water treatment
We have previously written about how supermarkets can protect the cold chain with a clean diesel tank for backup power.
